COMPUTER: -A hardware device that accepts data, processes data to produce information.

Now let's look at the definitions of the following:

• DATA: - Is the unprocessed information. An example of data can be student name and age.

• INFORMATION: - Is the processed data

• INPUT: - Entering of data or information in the computer system by using input hardware devices. Note:  to input = to enter.

• PRODUCE: - Showing / displaying the processed data using output devices. Note: to produce = to show = to display = to output.

• PROCESSING: - manipulation of data by a computer. It includes the conversion of raw data (unprocessed data) to machine-readable form (binary code).
